Math & Science Monday to Friday -  Math - Monday, we are going to finish the Math Google Classroom assignment 110 Squares and Cubes because we got about halfway on Friday. Then, the rest of this week, we will work on the following assignments from the Math Google Classroom: Turtles All the Way and Representing Relationships, as well as some expressions and equations review games on testing days. Science - Last week it took the whole week to clean up and get the robotics kits ready for next year, so this week we will finish getting the kits ready as quickly as we can, so we can start learning to use the water quality testing equipment and start going to the creek. I will have a guest teacher sub for me on Tuesday, so we will most likely take our first trip to the creek on Thursday. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the morning.) Water Quality Testing Once students learn how to use the equipment, on days that the weather is safe, we will go down to the creek access point under the bridge that is on the way towards Cenex from the school. There, students will collect water quality data with our Vernier sensors and probes. =================== Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning. Regular HW available for anyone who needs it -  For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. Students can also finish or go back through any online assignment once we complete it in class on a computer, tablet, or phone. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork, they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well on computers, tablets, or phones.
