Tuesday and Wednesday - Laura Tucker from the Health Department will be teaching 6th graders the Jefferson County 6th grade Human Growth and Development course.

Monday - No School - Semester Break

HW - None. Although the expectation is that students make up all their missing work, grades have been finalized for the 1st semester. Since students needed more time to complete their Future City projects, that will be their first 3rd quarter grades.

Tuesday and Wednesday - The last two days of the 8th grade the Human Growth and Development course.

Thursday - Students were given a list of the 3rd and 4th quarter assignments to make sure they do well this semester.

The first set of graded assignments are the Future City Project deliverables. Since teams did not complete their Future City Project on time, it did not go into last Semester's grading period. All the Future City activities will be included as the first graded assignments for the 3rd Quarter.

So today we will continue having team presentations.

Friday -  Students will work on their Genius Hour projects. If we have time, we will have more teams do their Future City presentation.

We will begin with a course intro and an activity to see how well they work in their teams - Aluminum Boats!

For the rest of the week, teams will complete different activities to practice working together, solving problems, and learning how to design products that meet the needs of many users.
