6th-grade Science Monday - Mondays are Garden Day! Each class will spend 45 minutes every Monday doing garden work with Valerie and Katie, our amazing garden coordinators! Note: Kids who were in esports last year and are going to participate again this year will have their first meeting this Thursday, Sept 15. Permission slips are due. New esports students will have their first meeting next Tuesday, Sept 20. Permission slips are due. 6C Per 1 - During class I am going to check in with students to make sure they are getting all their assignments done that we started last week. Here are the assignments that students need to have done by today:  Slime (Manipulated Variable & Observations) Set up Science Notebooks and Complete the Character Sheet (The Voyages) Join your Science Google Classroom. Join Classdojo and Tell Your Parents to also join using the link in the Course Manual packet sent home on the first day of school. Complete the Esports survey. Complete the Welcome Back survey. Complete the Ocean Guardian School Environmental Stewardship Project survey. The italicized words are the exact names of the assignments on Classcraft. 6B Per 2 - Same as Period 1 6A Per 3 - Same as Period 1 Tuesday -  6C Per 1 - Today teams will begin a Class Promises activity. Students will also get time to finish the seven assignments listed above that are due this week so they can begin setting up their Science electronic portfolio. 6B Per 2 - Same as Period 1 6A Per 3 - Same as Period 1 Wednesday -  6C Per 1 - Today we will finish the Class Promises Activity, including the new Classcraft assignment of the same name. Then we will go over the class norms and expectations required to make our classes safe and fun for everyone.
