6G Math & Science Monday and Thursday - This week in Math we are going to do a Pi activity for Pi Day (3-14) and then finish up Prime Factorization, 1.4, to begin learning about the Greatest Common Factor (GCF), 1.5. This week in Science I am moving all students to the space challenges in robotics! Teams have the rest of March to complete one or both challenges. Monday 12:30 Garden Time

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday and Wednesday - We will all complete a Pi activity on Tuesday in honor of Pi Day (Monday, 3-14). Sixth graders are going to work on Prime Factorization, 1.4. If they finish by Wednesday, we can begin Greatest Common Factor (GCF), 1.5. Fifth graders are working on pages 17, 18, and 19 in their Bridges workbook as well as working on March Number Corner activities. This week in Science I am moving all students to the space challenges in robotics! Teams have the rest of March to complete one or both challenges. Wednesday is centers day! At the end of the day during Science, each team participates in a different experience either building or solving puzzles. One team even explores the world of VR with Oculus Quest 2 headsets! Each class will cycle through all six centers during our Wednesday Science time every other week.
