Mr. G's 6th-grade Homeroom Monday - Students will read the article, "Amazon rain forest is ablaze, turning day into night in Sao Paulo." HW - None Tuesday - Today students will take the Language MAP Test until lunch (students will still get PE today at their regular time). Wednesday - Today students will take the Math MAP test until lunch (students will still get Band or Choir today at their regular time). Thursday - Today students will take the Reading MAP test until lunch (students will still get PE today at their regular time). Friday - Today I will have a sub while I attend a Growing Elementary Science training. Once students are done reading the Amazon fires article they started reading on Monday, they will begin to draft an Amazon 2019 wildfire blog post. Next week students will begin working on a blogging challenge and the Amazon wildfires blog post will be their first official post.

6th-grade Science Monday - This week I will introduce a series of Classcraft assignments that have a Star Trek theme. Then students will complete a Classroom Climate Pear Deck activity. After that we will work on more Mt Saint Helens research. HW - None unless you are falling behind and can catch up on some Classcraft work at home. Tuesday - After lunch students in Periods 1 and 2 will have Science. See Monday for what we'll be doing. Wednesday - After lunch students in Periods 1 and 3 will have Science. See Monday for what we'll be doing. Thursday - After lunch students in Periods 2 and 3 will have Science. See Monday for what we'll be doing. Friday -  Today I will have a sub while I attend a Growing Elementary Science training. All three periods will have Science today like normal.
