Tuesday - Course Introduction and a review of the school rules and procedures. While the expectations are the same as last year, the building is different so it pays to review. :)

HW - None - see Science -->

Wednesday to Friday - This week will be spent learning about the fires in Brazil and the devastation to the Amazon Rainforest for our first writing topic. Students will be drafting their first blog posts about this topic!
6th-grade Science

Monday - No School - Labor Day!

Tuesday - Class Intro today and passing out paperwork to take home for homework (see below for links in case you need a digital copy).

HW - If you did NOT turn in your Cispus Packet today then turn it in tomorrow! The two pages we need right away are the field trip permission slip and the health form.

If your child will need to take any medication at camp, get the authorization for medication form to a doctor so that our camp nurse can dispense the meds. That one is due Friday.

Kids also got my class intro sheet with the Bloomz code for parents to sign up for class updates.

Wednesday to Friday - Teams will complete the Marshmallow Challenge on Wednesday!

Then students will begin using Classcraft. Digital instructions for our Science assignments, activities, projects, and labs will be on Classcraft.

HW - A Cispus reminder was sent home with students. Turn in the field trip permission form and health form of the Cispus Packet tomorrow if you haven't already. Also, sign up for Bloomz if you haven't already. Visit the Parent's Corner if you need more information.
