6th-grade Science

Monday to Wednesday - Students must finish their water pollution Public Service Announcements (PSA) by Wednesday at the latest. This week Mr. G will start training teams on how to use the water quality testing equipment.

HW - If you need to re-take the Energy quiz, make sure you study first. Get a packet with the questions from Mr. G then let Mr. G know when you are ready.

Thursday - Today students will take the ELA CAT SBAC test (see if your child knows what that all means!) so 2nd period will not have Science class today. 

First period will get Science so they will continue to work on learning how to use the water quality testing equipment.

Friday - Today Mr. G will continue to train teams on how to use the water quality testing equipment so that we can start collecting water quality data on our creek next week!
8th-grade Science

Monday to Wednesday - This week we will finish the Peas and Carnations activities so that students can create flashcards of the Genetics vocabulary.

Then students will practice using Punnett Squares.

HW - If you are re-taking the physics test make sure you study first.

Thursday - Third period will not have Science class today due to SBAC testing. 

Fourth period will continue working on our Punnett Squares activities.

Friday -  Students will work on their Genius Hour projects.
7/8 Robotics/
Programming


Monday - Teams are working on their robotics challenges. In order to be on target for an A, teams need to be working on at least their 1st challenge. Teams that are on their 2nd challenge have a A in the class so far!

HW - None
