Monday - This week students need to finish graphing and analyzing their water quality data

Students are also learning what their parameters mean so they can analyze their data.

By now teams should be finishing their individual projects; in each team, there is a student learning about Ocean Acidification, one learning about the Water Cycle, one learning about Invasive Species, and one learning about Salmon. They each have different activities to complete such as making news videos, commercial ads, stop motion animations, comic books or comic strips stories, digital stories, or Google Slides presentations. Students choose what they want to create.

HW - None if you are all caught up!

Tuesday - Today I am going to prepare students for tomorrow's NOSC guests.

Students are going to learn about Benthic Macroinvertebrates including how to use our digital microscopes.

Wednesday - Today Sara and Olivia from NOSC are coming to teach students about Chimacum Creek. They are bringing creek water samples for students to look for benthic macroinvertebrates. Students will identify the macros they find and together we will rate the overall biological integrity of our creek!

Thursday - Same as Monday.

Friday - Today we are on our Early Release Schedule. Students are still working on the activities mentioned on Monday.

Next week students will start making the posters they will use to present at the June 6 Youth Summit!
