Quarter 4, Week 8, 6/6 to 6/10

Monday to Thursday - This week student teams will be working on their Environmental Stewardship final project websites! They will share all that they learned and use all the data we've collected this year, from fish trapping, benthic macros, and water quality to determine how Chimacum Creek is doing!

Thursday I will have a sub for 1st and 2nd period but I will be back in time for my after lunch classes. My 1st and 2nd period students will continue to work on their project websites, especially if they are not done yet.

At each team/table: 
There is a water quality expert who learned about either dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, temperature, or flow rate. 

There is a salmon expert who learned about the different stages of the salmon life cycle. 

There is a benthic macro expert who learned about our creek's biological integrity using the data we collected when we identified the macros in our creek. 

There is also a water pollution expert who learned what types of pollution could affect our creek.

HW - None, unless you fall behind on your work!

Friday - Today we will be having our second Market Day event in the middle school commons from around 8:30am to about 10am! Parents, if you can come, stop by and shop through the ancient cultures students studied for the second half of this school year in Humanities class!

My third period class will have Science today, after lunch as always, so they can continue to work on their final project, Environmental Stewardship websites!

Monday - Group B - Here are the three choices for finishing up the year in this class for students who have completed their final keyboarding/typing test (the 5 minute test) and have completed their end of course survey:
  1. Continue playing your Alliance character to get to level 20. Maybe play the new Dungeon with Mr. G, the Wailing Caverns.
  2. Work on the WoW in Schools 3D GameLab quests.
  3. Complete the villain 3D GameLab quests to try out a Horde character and play that new character a few times.
