6th grade Science

Monday through Friday - This week we will be going to Chimacum Creek to test the water quality.  Students are also trying to finish their Salmon Webquest to learn about salmon life cycles so they can start learning what their water quality parameters mean (including the data they are collecting!).

Fourth period is a bit behind so they will start going to the creek on Tuesday.

Our schedule will be different Wednesday through Friday for MSP testing but it will not affect Science this week at all.

HW - Get your May 30 Youth Summit permission slip signed and turned in. I'm getting these to you early because I'll be gone to Odyssey the whole week before our field trip. Make a note of, and keep, the waste free lunch sheet too. This is a field trip that we need chaperones for so ask your parents if they want to come with us.

If you have not finished your macro comic book or your tree planting blog or your water pollution public service announcement  then it's homework.
8th grade Science

Monday through Friday - Eighth graders have been working on plant projects for the past four weeks. This week they will begin presenting their research and their conclusions!

Our schedule will be different Wednesday through Friday for MSP testing. Since 8th graders will be taking their Science test on Wednesday and their Math test on Friday then work with their totem groups to prepare for Odyssey they will not have Science class on Wednesday or Friday this week.

HW - Anything you need to do to be ready to present this week.

Email me with any questions.
