6th-grade Science Monday to Friday - Teams who finished their PSA's are working on the next phase of our Environmental Stewardship Project. In each team, students will be studying one of the following to become the team expert in that field:
In addition to the above topics, every team will learn about two water quality parameters.
Period 1 is ready to start going down to the creek, as long as it's not raining, to start collecting data! I am still training teams in Periods 2 and 3 on how to use the equipment we have so that they can start collecting data on our creek's dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, turbidity and flow rate. It really helps when teams are on task and working, otherwise it takes longer to get all the teams trained and they will may not get down to the creek as often. HW - Finish your Water Pollution PSA if you are not done. | 6th-grade Exploratory Technology Literacy Monday - Group B - We will be meeting in the computer lab so that students can continue playing World of Warcraft! Students can choose to continue playing their Alliance characters to get them to level 20, get mounts, and do dungeon runs with Mr. G OR students can start playing a Horde character if they completed the Villain quests on 3D GameLab! HW - None Tuesday - Group C - Same as Monday Wednesday - Group A - Same as Monday Friday (double period) - 12:28 to 1:03pm - Group B 1:06 to 1:41pm - Group C 1:45 to 2:20pm - Group A Students will be working on their WoW in Schools 3D GameLab quests on Fridays so we will be meeting in my Science classroom, room 410. Whether students choose to continue playing Alliance or start playing Horde, they have plenty of 3D GameLab quests to choose from. |
