Quarter 3, Week 9, 3-29 to 4-2

Last week of the 3rd Quarter!

Cohort A - 8:45 to 11:15 am
A1 - Tues/Thurs/Fri,
A2 - Mon/Wed/Fri

Cohort B - 1:00 to 3:25 pm
B1 - Tues/Thurs/Fri,
B2 - Mon/Wed/Fri


Monday to Friday - Students who are not done with their PSA's will get some class time to finish, even though they are late. Those who are done will finish practicing the Water Pollution Vocabulary and work on playing some Science Adaptation games.

Cohort C

Week's Science Work - Cohort C students still need to check Classcraft everyday, take attendance everyday, watch the videos in the Class Announcements, and do some Science work everyday.

This week we are starting a new activity!

  1. Climate Change
  2. Water Pollution Vocab Quizizz (if not done)
  3. Science Adaptation Game Reviews (if not done)

Quarter 3, Week 8, 3-22 to 3-26

 Monday = World Water Day 2021!

Wednesday No School = Conferences!

Cohort B - 1:00 to 3:25 pm
B1 - Tues/Fri,
B2 - Mon/Thurs


Monday to Friday - Students need to be done with their Climate Change notes so they can focus on completing their PSAs. I have extended the deadline for the PSAs:
  1. Public Service Announcement (PSA) deadline extended to this Friday, March 26!
  2. This week we are moving on to learning about Ocean Acidification
Cohort C

Week's Science Work - Cohort C students still need to check Classcraft everyday, take attendance everyday, watch the videos in the Class Announcements, and do some Science work everyday.

In order to give students more time to complete their PSAs, I have extended the deadline:

  1. Public Service Announcement (PSA) deadline extended to Friday, March 26!
Those who are finished with their PSA will be working on to a Legends of Learning Science Adaptation games activity! Any other quest in Classcraft that has not been finished is also available for students who are done with their PSA and who finish the adaptations activity.

B2 - Mon/Wed/Fri


Monday to Friday - Students need to be done with the Hydrodynamics Challenge if they are NOT done yet (meaning they need to work on it at home) so they can work on the following in school:
  1. Public Service Announcement (PSA) due this Friday, March 19!
  2. Climate Change videos and notes due this Friday, March 19.

On Fridays I will see all Cohort A and B students but for half the time (Ms. Berg and I will switch half way through each class).
Cohort C

Week's Science Work - Cohort C students still need to check Classcraft everyday, take attendance everyday, watch the videos in the Class Announcements, and do some Science work everyday.

This week students need to be done with the Hydrodynamics Challenge so they can work on the following:

  1. Public Service Announcement (PSA) due this Friday, March 19!
Those who finish their PSA this week will be able to move on to a Legends of Learning Science Adaptation games activity!

Monday and Tuesday - This week we will wrap up the Hydrodynamics Challenge assignment and move on to the next stage where students will share their learning by creating Public Service Announcements (PSAs)!
  1. The water pollution project called Hydrodynamics Challenge due this Friday, March 12.
  2. Climate Change
  3. PSA (Public Service Announcement)
We will also continue to learn about Climate Change at the beginning of each class before students get to work on their Hydrodynamics and PSA assignments.

On Fridays I will see all Cohort A and B students but for half the time (Ms. Berg and I will switch half way through each class).
Cohort C
