| 6th-grade Science Monday - Today students will take a Kahoot quiz on water pollution so that I can see what they learned from studying water pollution from March 6 to March 30. Students who went on Friday's field trip can complete that quest on 3D GameLab. Those students who have not yet completed their Water Pollution Public Service Announcement still need to do that. HW - Finish your Public Service Announcement if you have not yet completed it. And turn in the Water Quality Testing Field Trip permission slip if you did not do that in March. For my 2nd period class ONLY - Make sure you book your child's Student-Led Conference time slot for April 18! Tuesday to Friday - This week I am going to get students started on the Environmental Stewardship topics that they are going to be learning about next:
I will help students get started by introducing/teaching about the above topics as student teams complete a 3D GameLab quest for each topic. The water quality topic also includes me training students on how to use the water quality testing equipment so that we can start going down to the creek to collect data!
| 6th-grade Exploratory Technology Literacy Monday - Group B - We will be meeting in the computer lab so that students can continue playing World of Warcraft! Students can choose to continue playing their Alliance characters to get them to level 20, get mounts, and do dungeon runs with Mr. G OR students can start playing a Horde character if they completed the Villain quests on 3D GameLab! HW - None Tuesday - Group C - Same as Monday. Wednesday - Group A - Same as Monday. Friday (double period) - 12:28 to 1:03pm - Group B 1:06 to 1:41pm - Group C 1:45 to 2:20pm - Group A Students will be working on their WoW in Schools 3D GameLab quests on Fridays so we will be meeting in my Science classroom, room 410. Whether students choose to continue playing Alliance or start playing Horde, they have plenty of 3D GameLab quests to choose from. |
