| Math & Science Monday to Thursday - Math & Science - We will be welcoming students this week as we set up our classroom routines and review expectations. We will also be having some fun in Math and Science as students work together in their small groups to solve The Mystery of the Missing Regulator! Students will set up their Math and Science notebooks, which will stay in room 410 so they do not have to carry anything in their backpack. Students who need extra work at home can have an Amplify Desmos Math workbook to take home and leave at home. By Wednesday or Thursday, we will begin using the Amplify Desmos Math curriculum to complete the Getting to Know You Lesson and the Pre-Unit Check. In Science, once teams solve the mystery of the missing regulator and find out who stole it, we will complete a Balloon Rockets lab. That should take us through to the end of this week. Friday - No School today or Monday (Labor Day) HW - Students were sent home with our 6th Grade Class Syllabus Packet. Please look through it because it answers a lot of questions we routinely get. Fill out and sign pages 16 and 18 - then separate pages 15 and 16, and 17 and 18, and send those back to school with your child. |
