6th-grade Science Monday - Today North Olympic Salmon Coalition (NOSC) Stewards will visit our 6th graders to teach them about Chimacum Creek and the restoration work being done. HW - None, unless you want to or need to make up your energy test. Mr. G has packets for students to study. Tuesday - NOSC Stewards return today bringing samples of Chimacum Creek water for students to look for and identify the bugs in the water. Using a Benthic Index, students can determine the water quality of our creek! Wednesday to Friday - Student teams need to finish their robotic solution and record them so that we can move on to the writing portion of the Hydro Dynamics Challenge! | 8th-grade Science Monday - Today we will be taking our Physical Science Test. HW - None unless students need to study for the test (if we postpone it until Tuesday). When students get their results, they will know if they need to study some more to make it up. Tuesday to Thursday - We are going to score yesterday's test. Then we will start our new unit of study - Genetics! We will begin with Lesson 1 in the How Do Organisms Look The Way They Do workbook. Friday - Students will work on their Genius Hour projects. | 7/8 Robotics/ Programming Monday to Friday - Student teams are working on different robotics challenges for the EV3 robots! HW - None |
