6th-grade Science

Monday - No School - President's Day!

HW - None

Tuesday to Friday - This week we will continue working on the Lego Mindstorms EV3 challenges.

Teams did not complete the first challenge while I was at the NCCE conference so I need to see what happened.

We will not go fish trapping this week because there are usually no fish during the winter and it's pretty cold right now!
8th-grade Science

Monday - No School - President's Day!

HW - None

Tuesday to Friday - This week we will learn about Newton's Cradle as we continue learning about how things move by learning what forces are acting on different objects.

I will be checking to see what happened while I was at the NCCE conference because I didn't see any work come in from students.
6th-grade Keyboarding

Monday - No School - President's Day!

Tuesday to Friday - Our daily routine is as follows:
  1. Check Classcraft.
  2. Practice Keyboarding with Typing.Com.
  3. Work on the WoW in Schools curriculum using 3D GameLab. OR
  4. Start playing World of Warcraft and start leveling up your character!
HW - No homework is assigned unless a student falls behind. If your child falls behind, he or she can catch up on their Keyboarding and on their 3D GameLab assignments using any device that has an Internet connection. To practice keyboarding, a device with a full keyboard is best. Kids can also do their keyboarding practice and 3D GameLab assignments from home if they want to get ahead.
