(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure a deadline or assignment or homework wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Thursday and Friday - Teams will continue to work on the EV3 challenges. All teams should be done with the programming lessons by now.

Those teams who finish the Sensabot Challenge will move on to a challenge called How Far. If they finish that one, they will move on to the How Fast challenge!

If the weather permits, this week period 3 will set the fish traps one day, then return the next day to ID and count any fish we catch in the traps. We always return the fish to the creek.

I will be at the NCCE Education Technology Conference in Seattle for the rest of the week so I will have a sub.

Eighth graders will finish their Magnetic Cannon labs today.

Thursday and Friday - Eighth graders need to finish their Magnetic Cannon lab conclusions if they didn't already. Then they will work on their electronic portfolios.

Those who finish all their portfolio quests can work on any other 3D GameLab quests.
6th-grade Keyboarding

Monday to Friday - Our daily routine is as follows:
  1. Check Classcraft.
  2. Practice Keyboarding with Typing.Com.
  3. Work on the WoW in Schools curriculum using 3D GameLab.
HW - No homework is assigned unless a student falls behind. If your child falls behind, he or she can catch up on their Keyboarding and on their 3D GameLab assignments using any device that has an Internet connection. To practice keyboarding, a device with a full keyboard is best. Kids can also do their keyboarding practice and 3D GameLab assignments from home if they want to get ahead.
