(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure a deadline or assignment or homework wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Monday, I am sending home permission slips for students who got selected to participate in a live telecast from the International Space Station (ISS) at the Galaxy Theaters in Gig Harbor on Tuesday, December 12! Students applied and Mrs. Stvartak and I selected 77 to attend! Five of them even got their questions selected to represent Chimacum Middle School! If your child cannot go or the permission slip doesn't get back to us this week, we will offer the seat to students on the waiting list so please fill out and sign that permission as soon as you can and have your child bring it to school. We will also need six parent chaperones so be on the lookout for a chance to sign up on Bloomz. We only have room for 77 students and six parents so we'll take those whose child was invited on a first come, first served basis.

6th-grade Science Monday and Tuesday - Students need to finish their Faraday Golfing Machine Blog Posts this week so that we can start the next STEM Robotics unit after Thanksgiving. HW - Finish your Robots Blog Post and/or your Faraday Golfing Machine Blog Post for homework if you did not finish those this week. Wednesday - Today we will be on our Early Release/Late Start Schedule. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! This week we will not go fish trapping because we need to finish the Faraday Golfing Challenge and we don't have enough days to do it all. | 8th-grade Science Monday and Tuesday - This week students will finish Lesson 1 of our What Makes Organisms Look The Way They Do unit. Instead of assigning the end of lesson reading form homework we will do it together in class to review how to annotate (Reading 1.3, pages 8 to 11). We will start Lesson 2 by completing the first activity to see whether some tastes can be inherited traits. HW - None if you are all caught up. If you don't finish fixing the questions you got wrong on your Weather Exam then you need to do that for homework. Wednesday - Today we will be on our Early Release/Late Start Schedule. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! | 6th-grade Keyboarding Monday to Wednesday - Our daily routine is as follows:
