| 6th-grade Science Monday - Today students will get the June 6 Youth Summit permission slip and information packet. In class, teams are designing the posters they will use to present at the Youth Summit. Students also need to finish learning the Science to explain how Chimacum Creek is doing so they can write notecards for their presentations. Next week teams will practice their presentation to get feedback from their peers and me. HW - Here's the Youth Summit permission slip in case you need another copy. Let me know if you want to join us and chaperone a team of students! Tuesday - Group B MAP Test Reading during 1st and 2nd period. Today my 1st-period class, Group B, will come back after lunch to continue preparing for the Youth Summit. Wednesday - Group B MAP Test Math during 1st and 2nd period. Today my 2nd-period class, Group C, will come back after lunch to continue preparing for the Youth Summit. Thursday - Group B MAP Test ELA during 1st and 2nd period. Today my 3rd-period class, Group A, will come back after lunch to continue preparing for the Youth Summit. Friday - Snow Day Make-Up Day, which means no school today. Have a great 4-day weekend (no school Monday either because it's Memorial Day)! | 6th-grade Exploratory Technology Literacy Monday - Group B - We will be meeting in the computer lab so that students can continue playing World of Warcraft! Students can choose to continue playing their Alliance characters to get them to level 20, get mounts, and do dungeon runs with Mr. G OR students can start playing a Horde character if they completed the Villain quests on 3D GameLab! HW - None Tuesday - Group C - Same as Monday Wednesday - Group A - Same as Monday Friday (double period) - No School Today. |
