6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - This week we are going to start with Math Google Classroom assignment 085 Practice 6.4.11 on Monday and 086 Practice Day 1 on Tuesday. Then students will take the Unit 4 sub unit quiz (#087) on Wednesday and do their quiz reflection (#088) to fix questions they got wrong on Thursday. Then we will do assignment 089 Classroom Comparisons on Friday. Science - Monday students will practice and/or learn how to use Tinkercad (assignment 021a) in case they need to design something to 3D print for the Science Google Classroom assignment 021 Potential Energy Efficiency Design Project. I will start approving team proposals and teams whose proposals get approved will start building and programming their robotic ideas! Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the morning.) ------------------ Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning.Regular HW available for anyone who needs it - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. Students can also finish or go back through any online assignment once we complete it in class on a computer, tablet, or phone. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well on computers, tablets, or phones. |
