6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - We are going to start the week with assignment 073 Potting Soil and end the week by taking the mid-unit quiz so that students can check their understanding of dividing fractions. Science - This week we are going to finish and wrap up the Potential Energy Design Robotics Challenge and add that to the students' electronic portfolios! Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) HW due this week - Fill out and sign permission slips & photo release forms!------------------ Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning.Regular HW available for anyone who needs it - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
