6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - We are continuing to work on Unit 4, Dividing Fractions, this week. We are starting Monday with the Math Google Classroom assignment 068 Flour Planner. Science - This week teams will build and program their Potential Energy Design Challenge robots. Once their robots complete their jobs, teams will calculate the potential and kinetic energy of their robots. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) I will have a guest teacher sub for me Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday while I attend this year's NCCE EdTech Conference. ------------------ Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning.Regular HW available for anyone who needs it - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
