6th-grade Science Monday to Friday - There will be a Late Start/Early Release Schedule on Tuesday (periods 1, 3, and 5) and Wednesday, (periods 2, 4, and 6). This week teams need to reorganize all their Legos so they can get into new teams for the next project. We will have a review Boss Battle before we start the next project - the Hydro Dynamics Challenge! That challenge will officially start the Environmental Stewardship Project. HW - None If we do any fish trapping this week, it will be 1st period. It all depends on how much we get done in class. | 8th-grade Science Monday to Thursday - There will be a Late Start/Early Release Schedule on Tuesday (periods 1, 3, and 5) and Wednesday, (periods 2, 4, and 6). This week teams will finish up some review work so that they can start the Sphero Chariot Race Challenge! The challenge will be our culminating project for our physics unit. HW - None Friday - Students will work on their Genius Hour projects. | 7/8 Robotics/ Programming Monday to Friday - There will be a Late Start/Early Release Schedule on Tuesday (periods 1, 3, and 5) and Wednesday, (periods 2, 4, and 6). This week teams need to complete the robots research questions, there are only eight, to get their Lego Mindstorms EV3 kits and start building their robots! HW - None unless you want to get ahead (or if you are behind). |
