| 6th grade Science Monday - Today students will work on their 3D GameLab Available or In Progress quests. I have a sub today while I attend a train the trainer training on using Formative Assessment. This is 3rd period's week to set and retrieve the fish traps since they didn't do it last week because of our Science testing. HW - None Tuesday - Today students will continue working on their 3D GameLab quests while I go over their tests from last week. I need to see if everyone is getting the learning targets. HW - Get your Tree Planting Permission Slip Signed by Friday for March 25. Wednesday - Today students will get some more time to work on their 3D GameLab quests. They are getting back tests and papers from our Energy and Forces unit to wrap up our learning of those topics. I will review energy transfers and show students how it applies to other examples besides the ones we learned. HW - None Thursday - Today we should be starting our brand new unit that will focus on our environment. We will begin by learning what environmental stewardship is and then focus our study on water pollution. HW - None Friday - Today students will continue working on the beginning of our environmental unit by learning about water pollution. Students are researching water pollution to write a Public Service Announcement (PSA) blog post. HW - None | 6th grade Exploratory WoW in Schools (This is my 2nd period class come back for 4th period.)Monday - Today students will play World of Warcraft because I have a sub while attend another training. HW - None Tuesday - Today students will practice their keyboarding skills on the Typing.Com courses. Then students will work on their 3D GameLab WoWinSchools assignments. HW - None Wednesday to Friday - The rest of the week students will play World of Warcraft to advance their character in the adventure. HW - None |
