Quarter 1, Week 7, 10-19 to 10-23

 

Cohort A & B Monday & Tuesday - Cohort A2 on Mondays and Cohort A1 on Tuesdays. Cohort B works on the same assignments listed here from home.  As students complete all the work assigned I have been adding more assignments in preparation for our next unit on Environmental Stewardship. We are not quite ready to start that unit yet but kids who are getting ahead can work on it if they want to and if they are caught up with the all their Starship Equinox and Zombie Apocalypse Classcraft quests. Assignments that are being added in the Classcraft quests, Science Fiction & Fact, Mojo's Lessons, and the 2020 Blogging Challenge are for students who are done with all their Starship Equinox and Zombie Apocalypse assignments and want more to do.   During face-to-face class time students get very little time to work on late assignments. In class we play a Gimkit quiz game together, we go out for fish trapping together, and we go out for water quality testing together. The following pre-requisite assignments should be all done by now:  The Introduction  Introduce Yourself  Personality Types Personality Types in the Movies Tell Your Parents (Bloomz) At-Home Daily Work Schedule Star Trek or Star Wars  Start Your Blog (This assignment is a prerequisite required before students can begin the next quest.) Blog Link  Blogging in Science Images on Blog  YouTuber  Widgets Anyone?  Passion Post  Time to Advance  All students should be working on these assignments this week:  Intro assignment with a video students need to watch. Pear Deck (most students completed this one in class) Pear Deck Takeaway  Supply List (Watch the video for now.) CDC Graphic Novel  Emergency Prep West Coast on Fire Disease Disease, A History The Disease Triangle Updated Game Rules Vocabulary Pear Deck Vocabular Quizizz Review Game The Immune System Commenting Wednesday - Everyone working from home. Students are still working on the assignments listed above.  Thursday & Friday - Cohort B2 on Thursdays and Cohort B1 on Fridays doing the same as Cohort A did above.  Cohort A works on the same assignments above from home.
