| 6th grade Science Monday - Today I will share a Mt Saint Helens presentation. Then I will show students the collaborative Google Slides volcano vocabulary presentation they will work on together. HW - None, unless students want to get ahead on their 3D GameLab Science work. By now students should have completed the preparation quests and started working on the volcano and Mt Saint Helens quests. Tuesday to Friday - Students will spend this week working on their 3D GameLab volcano and Mt Saint Helens quests as well as completing their collaborative Google Slides volcano vocabulary presentation. The plan is for students to present their slides to the rest of the class on Friday. Next week we will finish the presentations and prepare for our volcanoes assessment! :) This week, Tuesday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Thursday, depending on weather, my period 1 class will begin our fish trapping activity. Students will set traps on one day, then retrieve the traps the next to identify and count any fish we catch. We will return the fish to the creek and record the counts to send to the Jefferson Conservation District. | 6th grade Exploratory Technology Lit Monday - Group C - Today as teams finish their traits collages we will go to the computer lab to work on the WoWinSchools 3D GameLab quests. HW - None unless students want to get ahead on their 3D GameLab work. Tuesday - Group B - Today as teams finish their traits collages we will go to the computer lab to work the bullying comic strips they started working on in Ms. Langston's class with Mrs. Clifford. Wednesday - Group A - Today as teams finish their traits collages we will go to the computer lab to work the bullying comic strips they started working on in Ms. Langston's class with Mrs. Clifford. Thursday - Group C - Today as teams finish their traits collages we will go to the computer lab to work the bullying comic strips they started working on in Ms. Langston's class with Mrs. Clifford. Friday - Group B - Today we should be in the computer lab working on the WoWinSchools 3D GameLab quests. One student is already taking her typing test and she'll be starting her World of Warcraft adventure! |
