6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday to Wednesday - Math - This week is a short week so we will work on assignments 031 Balancing Act and 032 Practice 6.2.06. We will then have our mid-unit quiz on Monday, Nov 3. Science - This week student teams will continue working on assignment 014 EV3 Kit. Students should be finished building their robots and taking the Robot Educator programming lessons to learn how to program their EV3 robots. Monday - 2 pm Makah Assembly Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the morning.) Thursday and Friday - Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences! (No regular school.)------------------ Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning.Regular HW available for anyone who needs it - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. Students can also finish or go back through any online assignment once we complete it in class on a computer, tablet, or phone. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well on computers, tablets, or phones. |
