| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - This week we will continue with Desmos Unit 3 work on ratios. We will also complete some practice activities on Gimkit and Pear Practice to practice surface area and figuring out ratios and using proportional thinking! Science - We are going to use the hot and cold water baseline data we got last week to brainstorm different experiments student teams can do then each team will choose a different manipulated variable to investigate. We will also complete other activities to review what we learned about energy and energy transfer. We might even do some more work with Cyber Safety! Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) HW - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
