| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - We will work on Desmos Unit 3 lessons 3 and 4 on ratios. Computer Science Education Week - To supplement our robotics programming students will be participating in Minecraft Education Hour of Code programming games this week. We will also be practicing digital citizenship and learning about cyber security. Science - We are done with fish trapping for the year. Last week teams had a chance to finish their EV3 sensor labs including graphing their data and writing claim, evidence, reasoning conclusions. This week we are going to start learning about energy and energy transfer so that we can begin the heat energy transfer labs with the EV3, the temperature sensor, and the Lego Mindstorms software. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) HW - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
