6B - Ms. Berg's 5/6 Homeroom Class
6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
Math & Science Monday to Friday - This week we are going do a problem task, some problem strings, and more work on our curriculum for Math. For Science once all students are done setting up their Google Sites electronic portfolios we will begin the Coding in Minecraft unit so that kids can practice some coding before we start our robotics unit. We will also start fish trapping this week! See below for more info. Writer's Elective (Monday & Friday only) - Students should be done with their 9/11 research and taking notes. They are then typing up their rough drafts and using Bing Chat to give them feedback to make it better. Their final drafts will be published on our class book! HW - We are still waiting for a few more Math Aleks accounts so Math homework is to practice multiplication facts. For Science the only homework is to complete any classwork that is overdue so if students keep up with their work, they should have no Science homework. Click here and scroll down to see what assignments are due (you can email me or message me on Classdojo to find out if your child is caught up). We are going to start fish trapping this week! 6G will set the traps on Tuesday then retrieve the traps on Wednesday to ID and count the fish. 6B will set their traps on Wednesday and retrieve the traps on Thursday to ID and count the fish. |
