Quarter 2, Week 9, 1/15 to 1/19

6th-grade Science

Monday - No School Today - Martin Luther King, Jr Day!

Tuesday - Students who are still not done with their ePortfolio entries need to finish that. I had students choose three work samples from 1st and 2nd quarter to reflect upon and share what they learned.

HW - If you are not yet done with your ePortfolio, finish at home.

Wednesday - Today students will take the English Language Arts (ELA) Map test. I will have my 3rd period students for Science after the testing is done. They will be finishing up their portfolio work.

Thursday - Once students are done with their ePortfolios they can finish their Port View quest. Then we will start working on the How Sensors Work Lab quest.

Friday - Today we will attend a Martin Luther King, Jr assembly in the morning. Then we will continue to work on the Port View and How Sensors Work Lab quests.
8th-grade Science

Monday - No School Today - Martin Luther King, Jr Day!

Tuesday to Friday - Students need to finish their ePortfolio entries for the 1st and 2nd quarter, including their reflections.

Once students are done with their ePortfolios they need to complete the following 3D GameLab quests:
  1. Making a Baby
  2. More About Genetics
  3. What Kingdom Are You Part Of?


HW - Work on any of the 3D GameLab quests that you are not getting done in class.
6th-grade Keyboarding

Monday - No School Today - Martin Luther King, Jr Day!

Tuesday to Friday - Our daily routine is as follows:
  1. Check Classcraft.
  2. Play World of Warcraft to level up your character! OR Work on the WoW in Schools curriculum using 3D GameLab.
