6th-grade Science Monday to Friday - This week students will finish their Gear experiments to see how gear arrangement affects how many times a tire turns. They are collecting data to answer that question. Students will then get time to work on their 3D GameLab assignments to catch up on those. By the end of the week we should be starting the next STEM Robotics 101 activity called the Faraday Golfing Machine! Here are the quests that students need to have completed by this week:
Period 1, Group B, will try fish trapping this week. The path to the creek should be cleared by Wednesday so we'll try to set the traps on Thursday and check them on Friday. | 8th-grade Science Monday to Friday - This week the plan is to finish Lesson 5, What Can Weather Maps Tell Us, and prepare for the end of the quarter by adding work to portfolios. Students will get time to work on 3D GameLab as well before we begin Lesson 6, Does the Storm Model Fit Data From a Storm? Here are the quests that students need to have completed by this week:
