6th-grade Science Monday through Thursday - Here is this week's testing schedule: Monday - Math Adaptive Tuesday - ELA Adaptive Wednesday - Math Performance Thursday - ELA Performance Testing will happen with 1st period teachers in the 1st period classroom from the beginning of the day until lunch time. Students who need more time can continue working on their test in the computer lab after lunch. For 3rd period, Monday I will have Group C students, Tuesday, I will have Group A students, Wednesday, I will have Group B students, and Thursday I will have Group C students again. During 3rd period I will take students down to the creek again for the final water quality testing data collection. Back in class, students will continue to work on their Environmental Stewardship topics study. HW - None, unless students are falling behind. Friday - Today we will have a regular day with all our regular periods. In each team, there is a student learning about Ocean Acidification, one learning about the Water Cycle, one learning about Invasive Species, and one learning about Salmon. They each have different activities to complete. Teams also need to figure out what their water quality data means by learning about dissolved oxygen or D.O., pH, temperature, turbidity, and flow rate. We have lots to do and not a lot of time to do it! | 6th-grade Exploratory Technology Literacy Monday - Group B - We will be meeting in the computer lab so that students can continue playing World of Warcraft! Students can choose to continue playing their Alliance characters to get them to level 20, get mounts, and do dungeon runs with Mr. G OR students can start playing a Horde character if they completed the Villain quests on 3D GameLab! HW - None Tuesday - Group C - Same as Monday Wednesday - Group A - Same as Monday Friday (double period) - 12:28 to 1:03pm - Group B 1:06 to 1:41pm - Group C 1:45 to 2:20pm - Group A Students will be working on their WoW in Schools 3D GameLab quests on Fridays so we will be meeting in my Science classroom, room 410. Whether students choose to continue playing Alliance or start playing Horde, they have plenty of 3D GameLab quests to choose from and work on. |
