Monday - Today students will complete the second half of lesson 5 on Forces, Inquiry 5.2 on the force of gravity.

HW - Student teams are going to be building bottle rockets in class. Each team will need one 2L soda bottle.

No School Monday, Jan 16, in celebration of MLK, Jr. Day.

Tuesday to Friday - Once teams are done with Lesson 5 they will complete the Elastic Force and Gravity 3D GameLab quest.

For the remainder of this week teams will be building bottle rockets to learn about the effects of balanced and unbalanced forces on the motion of an object. Those who get done early can work on 3D GameLab as there are a lot of great quests having to do with motion!

For teams that do not have a 2L soda bottle, they can work on their simple machines quest where they will be researching the simple machines used by the civilization they are studying for Market Day. Students will build a replica of a simple machine along with a notecard to display on their booth at the January 27 Market Day event!
