Then we began Lesson 9 on Power! 2nd period is responsible for the fish traps this week. HW - None Tuesday - Today we will continue to work on Lesson 9. I will also give them the answers to the Star Trek class story questions as well as introduce a blogging challenge to see if there's any interest in joining. HW - None Wednesday - Today we finished the prep work and student teams started the Lesson 9 Power Lab! I'm shared some science competition opportunities with students. One was the Science and Engineering Fair taking place at Bremerton High School March 27 and 28 for kids in grades 1 through 12. The other is the Young Scientist Challenge for kids in grades 5 through 8. Our 6th graders just missed the Google Science Fair because it's for kids ages 13 to 18.
