| 6th grade Science Monday - Today is the last day of the 1st quarter! Progress reports will be ready by the end of the week or early next week. Today students worked on their battery quests so that we could start the lesson 5 lab tomorrow. HW - None Tuesday - Today we will do the prep for lesson 5 lab on elastic force. 3rd period set the fish traps today. HW - None Wednesday - Today we will start the lesson 5 lab on elastic force. 3rd period will retrieve the fish traps to id and count any fish. HW - None Thursday - Today will finish their elastic force graphs so they can share with the class. HW - None Friday - Today students will begin the second lesson 5 lab on the force of gravity, specifically mass vs weight. Then students will answer the reflection questions. HW - None | 6th grade Exploratory(This is my 1st period class come back for 4th period.)Monday - Today we learned and practiced a new skill - listening carefully. Students were given the opportunity to complete some activities to get more XP on their Classcraft accounts. HW - None unless you want more XP. Tuesday - Today we are going to shift to a new course. The new course will be a literacy course based on the online game World of Warcraft from the WoW in Schools project. HW - Show your parents the Class Syllabus letter (minus the standards, they are only found on the electronic version linked here). Wednesday - Today students will start the in class preparation for this course. HW - None Thursday - Continued preparation by beginning the 3D GameLab quests to get to the computer to be able to start playing. HW - None Friday - By today students should start researching different races and classes of characters to choose as their hero. HW - None |
