Week 11, 2/25 to 3/1

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am 
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am 
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm 
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm 
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm
6th grade Science

Monday - Today students will start a webquest to learn about water pollution. This officially begins our Water Quality and Stewardship Project.

We are also going to take some time to read and comment on our Quadblogging pals work.

HW - None unless you still haven't turned in your release forms (see last week's post to download the forms).

Tuesday - Today students will be working on their first quest, the Water Pollution Webquest!

Wednesday - Students are still working on their Water Pollution Webquest.

HW - See Monday.

Thursday - Students are still working on their Water Pollution Webquest. Kids are starting to get the hang of taking notes as part of their Scientific research. They are starting to get that the goal is to gain new knowledge and to write it down so they don't forget.

Friday - Students are still working on their Water Pollution Webquest, the research phase.

8th grade Science

Monday - Today students will finish their mitosis Doink animations or their Glog digital posters to upload to their Mitosis Blog.

Then they will compare and contrast mitosis and meiosis.

HW - None unless you still haven't turned in the signed release form (see last week's post to download the form).

Tuesday - Students are still working on getting their mitosis animations or glogs published on their Mitosis Blogs.

Once done, students will work on the compare and contrast mitosis and meiosis assignment.

5th period will be setting the fish traps today.

HW - See Monday

Wednesday - Students are still working on their mitos and meiosis assignments.

5th period will be retrieving the fish traps to id and count any fish we caught.

Thursday - Students are still working on their mitosis and meiosis assignments. By now everyone should be finished with the mitosis part and starting the meiosis part.

HW - See Monday, some students still need to turn the form in.

Friday - Students are still working on their meiosis assignment.
