(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

This is the midterm week. I will have progress reports ready by early next week. In the meantime be sure to visit your child's blog to see how she or he is doing in Science. If you want to know how your child is doing with the Social Network Science Prompts, just email me so that I can check for you (I can explain what it is too if you don't know).

6th grade Science Monday - Today we are going to watch a couple of videos to get some ideas about how to leave great comments and how feedback can help us improve the quality of our work. Students are also checking their blogs to check for comments from our Quadblogging pals. It's our turn to read and comment on the next school's work. HW - None Tuesday - Today students will take a halfway through the year survey. Then they continue to work on their Newton's Laws projects. HW - None, unless you need to catch up on your Newton's Laws project. Wednesday - Today I will show students how to upload their projects onto their blogs. I am expecting most students to have a product ready for uploading today (at least that's the goal). HW - None Thursday - Well, we are still working on having a finished product to upload to our blogs today. Only a few got done yesterday. HW - None Friday - Today I will give students a peer assessment survey to see how they rate each other. I've heard some teams are getting along great while other teams are not working so well together. Then students will have the rest of the period to get their Newton's Laws of Motion animations or glogs onto their blogs. Those who are done will investigate simple machines.
