| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - This week we are going to move on to the second part of unit one with assignments 018 Renata's Sticker , 019 Plenty of Polyhedra, 020 Practice 6.1.12, and 021 Face Value. Next week we will be taking the Unit 1 end of unit assessment. We will most likely have the test on Tuesday. Science - This week we are going to get everyone done with their electronic portfolio. Then we will complete the What is a Force assignment. We will also finish setting up our Starship character sheets and practice prompting an AI to generate images for our class character book. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the morning.) We will also have a music assembly today at 1:45 pm. Friday - Picture Day ------------------ Any work that is not completed during class time becomes homework so that students don't fall behind and so that all students can access ALL the learning.Regular HW available for anyone who needs it - For Math, students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. Students can also finish or go back through any online assignment once we complete it in class on a computer, tablet, or phone. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well on computers, tablets, or phones. |
