6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday - No School in honor of Veteran's Day. Tuesday to Friday - Math - Students had time to go over their quizzes and fix the ones they got wrong to learn from their mistakes. This week we will continue with the rest of the ratio lessons. Science - Now that students have had a chance to see how each sensor works they are going to choose their favorite sensor to design and carry out an experiment to collect data and learn more about that sensor and how it works. We will also be having mini-lessons on energy and energy transfer. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) Update as of Tuesday, Nov 12, at 10:30 am - We are going to cancel all fish trapping this week to keep students safe as the rains cause Chimacum Creek water levels to rise. We'll see about trying again next week. HW - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
