6B - Ms. Berg's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
Math & Science Monday to Wednesday - Math - We are going to be doing some reflecting and problem strings on ratios to make sure everyone is on track and understanding. We might even do some review on surface area since that was a struggle for many 6th graders. Science - Wednesday is the deadline for teams to complete as many of the Lego Mindstorms Robot Educator lessons to learn how to program their EV3 robots. Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) Thursday and Friday - No School for Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences! See you then. Fish Trapping if the weather is safe! 6G will set the traps on Monday then retrieve the traps on Tuesday to ID and count the fish. 6B will set their traps on Tuesday and retrieve the traps on Wednesday to ID and count the fish. HW - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class or if they miss due to absence. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative activity or assignment). If students want to access the practice quizzes and games on Google Classroom at home, they can work on those as well. |
