6G - Mr. Gonzalez's 6th Grade Homeroom Class
| Math & Science Monday to Friday - Math - This week students will get their workbooks. The workbooks will stay in the Math/Science classroom until we need it and students can take out pages to take home for homework as needed for lessons they did not understand during class. We will work on Unit 1, Area and Surface Area, online using the Desmos 6th grade Math curriculum. Science - In Science we are going to continue to work on our prep activities as students roll and create their Science Star Trek characters before they create their Math & Science electronic portfolios using Google Sites. Students will also set up their notebooks this week and complete some beginning of the year surveys. HW - For Math students have a workbook that they can take pages out of to take home for lessons that need more work if they don't get it during class. For Science, if students fall behind on their classwork they can catch up at home (if students do not have access to a computer at home, ask Mr. Gonzalez for an alternative). Tuesday - Garden Day! (Our classes have garden in the afternoon.) |
