HW - By now everyone should be done with Robotics Vocabulary, Energy Vocabulary, Friction, Forces and Motion, Humans Flying, Super Speed, Physics of Football 1, 2, and 3 at least! All the other assignments (see here) are available to all students to do at home. Students also need to finish their Potential Energy Robotics Challenge eportfolio entry for homework since we do not have more class time available. If you need another copy of the Youth Summit field trip permission slip, download it here and print or have your child ask Mr. Gonzalez for another copy. Tuesday - Fifth graders will take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science test today with Mrs. Fortier. I will work with the 6th graders. Each class will visit the creek again to collect more water quality data then back in class continue learning about their parameter to teach it to their classmates next week. Wednesday - Same as yesterday but for everyone since all the 5th graders should be done with their Science test! Thursday - Same as yesterday for my Period 1 and 2 classes. From 1 to 3 pm all 5th graders and 6th graders will have an HIV lesson by Nurse Reina Garcia. Friday - Today we will be on our Early Release schedule, 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, to kick off Rhody weekend! We will rotate students through all three classes like usual, only for a shortened amount of time. For Science, kids are still working on learning their water quality parameter to be able to teach their classmates next week. |
