6th-grade Science Monday - No School Today - Martin Luther King, Jr Day. Tuesday to Friday -  This week student teams are going to finish the How Fast robotics experiment. Then they will begin the next robotics challenge on natural disasters. We are wrapping up the robotics vocabulary with a Pear Deck quiz on Tuesday then students will start learning and practicing ENERGY vocabulary! The concepts kids are learning are as follows: energy  potential energy kinetic energy light energy thermal energy elastic energy stored chemical energy nuclear energy wind energy solar energy hydroelectric energy electrical energy velocity acceleration force Newton's First Law of Motion Newton's Third Law of Motion
