6G Math & Science Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - In Math this week we will continue our work on Chapter 5 in the textbook. Students will finish section 5.1 on ratios and begin working on section 5.2 on ratio tables. Monday we will have a guest presentation by the North Olympic Salmon Coalition (NOSC) to learn more about Chimacum Creek. This is part of our Ocean Guardian School's Environmental Stewardship Project that will the focus of our work for the rest of the year. In Science students will be wrapping up their robotics projects by adding a new section to their electronic portfolios to reflect on what they learned and accomplished. Once done, we will choose new teams for the environmental stewardship project and teams will choose water quality parameters to test and study. Monday 12:30 Garden Time

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday and Friday - Sixth graders are going to start Chapter 5, section 5.1, on ratios this week. Fifth graders will continue working on Unit 2, pages 33 to 41.
