6G Math & Science Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - This week in Math we are going to take the spring Math MAP test. Then we are going to finish Greatest Common Factor, 1.5, and begin to practice finding the Least Common Multiple, 1.6, so that we can jump to Chapter 5 in the book on ratios, 5.1.  In Science teams are either working on the Lunar Soil Rover challenge or the Human Space Exploration Robotic Support challenge. Monday 12:30 Garden Time Wednesday is centers day! At the end of the day during Science, each team participates in a different experience either building or solving puzzles. One team even explores the world of VR with Oculus Quest 2 headsets! Each class will cycle through all six centers during our Wednesday Science time every other week.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday and Friday - This week in Math we are going to take the spring Math MAP test. Sixth graders are going to finish Prime Factorization, 1.4. Then we are going to practice finding the Greatest Common Factor, 1.5, and the Least Common Multiple, 1.6. Fifth graders will finish page 19 in their Bridges workbook as well as working on March Number Corner activities. Then we are going to jump to Unit 2, Section 1, on page 33. In Science teams are either working on the Lunar Soil Rover challenge or the Human Space Exploration Robotic Support challenge. Friday 12:30 Garden Time
