(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure a deadline or assignment or homework wasn't changed at the last minute.)

6th-grade Science Monday - Students were supposed to have completed the Water Pollution Intro quest last week. All they had to do was to draw their idea of a healthy creek system and write what Environmental Stewardship means in their own words. Those who did not complete that last week have fallen behind. Last week students were supposed to begin researching water pollution on the Water Webquest by answering the six questions. HW - Get your field trip Permission Slips signed and turned in ASAP so you don't forget! If you have fallen behind, do some of your water pollution research at home so you can start writing your Public Service Announcement this week. Tuesday and Wednesday - We will be on a Late Start/Early Release schedule. Students should be wrapping up their water pollution research so they can start preparing for the next stage of this project - writing Water Pollution Public Service Announcement! Thursday and Friday - Students should be working on their Water Pollution Public Service Announcements. They get to write those as a team using shared Google Docs. This week period 2, Group C, will set the fish traps one day, then return the next day to ID and count any fish we catch in the traps. We always return the fish to the creek. | 6th-grade Exploratory Technology Literacy Monday - Group B - We will be meeting in the computer lab so that students can continue playing World of Warcraft! Students can choose to continue playing their Alliance characters to get them to level 20, get mounts, and do dungeon runs with Mr. G. The other choice is to complete the Villain quests on 3D GameLab to try out a Horde character! HW - None Tuesday - Group C - Same as Monday. Wednesday - Group A - Same as Monday. Friday (double period) - 12:28 to 1:03pm - Group B 1:06 to 1:41pm - Group C 1:45 to 2:20pm - Group A Students will be working on their WoW in Schools 3D GameLab quests on Fridays so we will be meeting in my Science classroom, room 410. Whether students choose to continue playing Alliance or start playing Horde, they have plenty of 3D GameLab quests to choose from. |
