6th grade Science Monday - Today teams will present to the class to practice their Youth Summit presentation for Thursday. I'm still collecting permission slips from those who didn't get them signed last week. HW - Prepare and perfect your presentation for the Youth Summit on Thursday. Tuesday - Today students will take their last SBAC test! It's the English Language Arts (ELA) test based on the performance task they discussed in Humanities class yesterday. After lunch I will have each class for about 30 minutes to continue practice presentations. Wednesday - Today teams will continue practicing their presentations and making finishing touches in preparation for tomorrow's field trip. HW - Remember to bring a sack lunch for tomorrow's field trip. Thursday - Today we will be in Belfair at the Salmon Center for the GreenSTEMs Youth Summit field trip. We should return by the end of 5th period. Friday - Today we will have Market Day during 1st and 2nd periods. Then my 3rd period class will have Science where they will continue working on their environmental stewardship final project websites. HW - None | 6th grade Exploratory WoW in Schools (This is my 3rd period class staying for 4th period.)Monday through Wednesday - Students will be playing their Horde characters on World of Warcraft as they learn the story of the enemy of the Alliance. Thursday - Today we will be on the GreenSTEMs Youth Summit field trip so we won't have 4th period. Friday - Today students will work on practicing their typing and working on their WoW in Schools 3D GameLab assignments. |
