Math & Science No School on Monday - Happy Memorial Day! Tuesday to Friday -  Math - We have another practice packet for performance task problems. This week we will take both Math state tests! Science - This week teams need to finish their posters and notecards so they can start preparing and practicing for their Youth Summit sharing circles next Friday, June 7! Writer's Elective (Friday only this week)  - Teams are recording and editing their video casts! Those who submit their video will get feedback from the class when I show it! :) HW - For Math students have Aleks and for Science students have the Quizizz and Legends of Learning Life, Earth, and Physical Science study guides. Tuesday - The Math SBA Computer Adaptive Test. Then 6G will have Math and Science. Wednesday - 5th grade ONLY - the Science state test (WA Comprehensive Assessment of Science). The 6th graders will be doing Cispus activities with Ms. Berg as well as have their 7th grade ASB officer speeches and election! Thursday - The Math SBA Performance Task Test. Then 6B will have Math and Science.

Math & Science Monday to Friday - Garden in Math & Science on Monday Math - We are going to sample some Smarter Balanced Assessment state test sample practice problems to prepare everyone for the Math tests next week. Then we'll get back to work on our Bridges and Desmos lessons. Science - This week teams are going to start preparing posters for the June 7 Youth Summit. Now that students have learned about all six water quality parameters they will also be writing conclusions using the Claim-Evidence-Reasoning format.  Writer's Elective (Monday and Friday only)  - Teams are recording and editing their video casts!  HW - For Math students have Aleks and for Science students have the Quizizz and Legends of Learning Life, Earth, and Physical Science study guides. Thursday - The ELA SBA Computer Adaptive Test. Then 6G will have Math and Science. Thursday - The ELA SBA Performance Task Test. Then 6B will have Math and Science.

Math & Science Monday to Friday - Garden in Math & Science on Monday Math - For Math this week we are going to finish graphing and analyzing our water quality data. Then we will get back to decimals for 5th grade and ratios for 6th grade. Science - Teams are going to put together presentations to teach the rest of their classmates all about their water quality parameter! Then they will begin putting together posters to share what they are learning at the Youth Summit in Belfair! Writer's Elective (Monday and Friday only)  - Teams are recording and editing their video casts!  HW - For Math students have Aleks and for Science students have the Quizizz and Legends of Learning Life, Earth, and Physical Science study guides. Thursday - Student of the Month Assembly at 2:15. Friday - Early Release at 12:15 pm for the Rhody Weekend!
