5th/6th-grade Science Monday - Today we will start by all meeting in Ms. Berg's room for the Holocaust survivor video conference during 1st period. During 2nd period 6th graders will have a Zoom orientation from Islandwood in preparation for our trip. Then at the end of the day during 3rd period 6th graders will get into their Islandwood Activity Groups to meet and work on their group banners with their high school camp counselors! It's going to be a fun day of great activities! When in Science class students will work on their physics assignments. HW - There is only homework for students who need more time to complete class assignments that were not completed during class time. Here are assignments that are homework for students who have not completed them: Robotics Vocabulary, Energy Vocabulary, Friction, Forces and Motion, Humans Flying, and Super Speed assignment. Tuesday - Today teams will get to work on their Potential Energy robotics challenge. Whatever they don't finish they will have to pick up where they leave off after spring break and after the Islandwood trip! Wednesday - Today Mrs. Kaster will do her Second Step lesson during Science. Then students will work on their physics assignments. Thursday - Today we will have a guest presentation during Science on the History of Chimacum Creek by North Olympic Salmon Coalition (NOSC) restoration stewards. Then students will continue working on their physics lessons. Friday - Today the NOSC stewards will return to do a benthic macroinvertebrate lesson/activity with students during Science. |
